One of the many handy features of Papyrus is its Presentation mode. Until now, for
my presentations I have always used Apple’s Keynote: which undoubtedly is a very ni-
ce application. But on the other hand: I don’t need its all too many whistles and bells:
its many themes, glamorous effects, transition modes and so on. I try to keep my pre-
sentations as simple as possible, in order to avoid anything that can distract my audien-
ce from their content.

To this end, Papyrus’ Presentation mode is very convenient. It’s simple but effecti-
ve, especially in combination with the Presentation Templates (1024 x 768 ecc.) that
come with our application.

But in order to be able to work smoothly with the Presentation mode, I would like
to know two things, which I still haven’t been able to figure out:

1. Is there a simple way to change the order of the various pages within a (presenta-
tion-)document? The various pages of a presentation don’t always come into being in
the order in which they will be shown to the audience; that’s why it would be very
convenient if their order within the document could be changed easily. In applications
like Keynote this can be done easily by moving the various pages up and down in the
navigation bar; but I don’t know how to do this in Papyrus.

2. I’m looking for an easy way to manipulate images into and within frames. The
workflow I have in mind, is as follows:
a. create a frame with the object toolbar;
b. import an image
c. manipulate the image (by moving, enlarging, reducing ecc.), in order to make a
certain part of it fit within the frame
d. erase the part of the image outside the edge of the frame: the part that falls within
the frame remains visible, the rest disappears from sight.
In other words, I would like to use the frame as a kind of selection tool and cutting
edge, without cutting into pieces the image itself. Is this possible, or am I asking too
much?

-> 1. Up to now, nothing more than the useful block operations within the normal papyrus (blockmark the page, cut /paste it or drag it with the mouse where you want to have it).

-> 2. Picture manipulation has to be done externally, atm., except of using parts of pictures. That selection has to be done in the picture catalogue.
