I have not found this yet in Papyrus, but wondered whether it supported parallel columns. That is, for example, if English is in the left column it would continue in the left column on each page, and Greek in the right column and it would continue in the right column on each page. Thus, each column is independent of the other.
Thanks

Papyrus doesn't have support for parallel columns. If you switch to the masterpage layout you will quickly see that there is always only one thread of text boxes for the main document content.
One possible solution is to create a masterpage layout with only one column on the left which will be used for the English text. Then, on each page, create a separate text object that will hold the Greek text. If you anchor this text object at the beginning of the page the document might even survive changes to the English text without losing track with the Greek translation (to some extent at least).
Another option is to use two-column tables to achieve a similar result. However, at the end of each page you will have to create a new row in this table which will then wrap to the next page. It might be even adivsable to put each paragraph into its own table row and keep the translation in the appropriate neighboring table cell. The page wrap automatic will then have more flexibility to decide which rows can stay on one page and which rows have to be moved to the next page.
In both cases however, you will not get any word wrap from one page to the next since both, text objects and table cells, do not support automatic text flow from one object to another.

Thanks. That’s what I had concluded as well. For short pieces, the table might work, but for extended work, it would cumbersome.
I will ponder some more on this.
