Papyrus 12.5 and Windows 7 [Beitrag #10045]

I am running the German version of Papyrus (v. 2011), now I just wonder if the English version 12.5, which seems to be the latest, runs on Windows 7?

Just give it a try. But it might be a problem there, because there are several changes in Windows.

But we're in translation process, intensely - I definetely want to have a new English version, this summer.

Yes, I would like to try it, but the English demo is not even possible to install on Windows 7 64 bits.

This doesn't help wit the demo, but I think the problem lies with the installation program.

When I was forced to move to Windows 7, I couldn't /install/ the program but, as it is nicely written and doesn't, so far as I know, require the Windows registry, I was able to copy the directory from my old, dying Windows XP laptop to a Windows 7:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Papyrus
and it's worked beautifully.

I've been using Papyrus since the 80's when it was an Atari ST program and much prefer it to anything else
